Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival Maryland is home to one of the largest sheep and wool festivals in the nation: The Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival is sponsored by the Maryland Sheep Breeders Association, Inc., a non-profit organization. The Festival's purpose is to educate the public about sheep and wool. The Festival is organized and conducted by volunteers from the sheep breeding and fiber arts communities. The Festival is held at The Howard County Fairgrounds every year, a mere 20 minute ride from The Wilderness B&B.
We look forward to hosting Festival goers each spring, and provide an elegant but comfortable environment to 'come home to" after your sheep and wool festivities each day.
The Wilderness does have a 3 night minimum for this special event. Our suites can comfortably host a family of attendees - Come out for a visit and get lost in your dreams!
