small non-profit with a mission to create a
better future through brain injury prevention,
education, advocacy and promotion of research.
We Are…
...a private, non-profit state affiliate of the
Brain Injury Association of America. We
were initiated in 1983 as a grass roots organization
by family members of individuals
with brain injury concerned by the lack of
services in Maryland for their loved ones.
Today, our membership includes individuals
with brain injury, family members, and professionals
who work in the brain injury field,
disability and healthcare organizations.
